Reasons for taking probiotics

Especially in the context of gastrointestinal diseases, the intake of probiotics can be useful. Studies prove in the meantime that humans, who suffer from chronically inflammatory intestine illnesses, like Morbus Crohn or Colitis Ulcerosa, can profit from the income. Also the irritable bowel syndrome can probably be influenced positively by it.

In addition, scientific studies have shown a shorter duration and milder course of viral or bacterial diarrheal diseases in children who additionally took probiotics. After antibiotic intake Probiotika are frequently praised. They should contribute to the regeneration of the affected intestinal mucosa and reduce or completely prevent subsequent diarrhea.
