The so-called horse kiss
The “horse kiss” is a colloquial term for a thigh contusion. Depending on the region, there are other names, for example stag, knuckle of pork or thigh. Responsible for the naming are probably the hoof kicks of horses, which cause a painful thigh contusion. For example, horse kissing is especially used to describe thigh bruises that occur during contact sports when an opponent player hits the horse with a ram.
