Therapy
The bruise is usually punctured (aspirated with a syringe) or cut and the fluid is drained. An antibiotic is often administered additionally to prevent infection of the bruise (haematoma). Instead of the puncture, a pressure bandage can also be applied. The individual therapy decision must be made according to the findings.
