Often the diarrhea can already be alleviated or cured with the help of home remedies. It is not only used in the medical field, but also in technical and chemical areas.When taken as tablets, activated carbon acts in the gastrointestinal tract, where it binds toxins absorbed by the mouth and excess fluid.

It therefore thickens the stool considerably and can thus relieve watery diarrhea. Some diarrhoea pathogens also produce toxins that cause the symptoms in the first place. Activated carbon can also bind such toxins (poisons) that may have been produced by the pathogens.

However, it should be remembered that diarrhoea can also be a function of the body to transport pathogens or the toxins they produce out of the body.
