These tools are optional
Basically, all breastfeeding aids are optional. Besides the most frequently used aids, there are also some that are only used in special situations or out of “mother’s preference”. These include, for example, the nursing oil.
This is intended to stimulate the flow of milk. However, many women also do without a special oil and provide a simple massage to stimulate the milk flow. Others find the oil particularly pleasant and appreciate the scent and the simultaneous care of the skin.
Drinking still tea is also a matter of taste. Where some of the mothers like to drink the tea and find it beneficial, other mothers dislike it simply because of the taste.
