Torn muscle fibre and homeopathy

A torn muscle fibre can of course also be supported by homeopathy. A rupture of one or more muscle fiber bundles in the calf is a common sports injury caused by direct force (e.g. kick in the calf) or sudden overstrain (e.g. strain when jumping off).

Frequently, a shooting pain in the calf or even a palpable tearing is felt. Sometimes pain in the calf is felt only after a few hours. Walking and toeing are very painful or impossible.

In the first period after the injury, a dent can often be felt at the site of the injury, later there is a swelling of the calf. Raising the leg and immediate treatment with ice and elastic bandages can alleviate the discomfort and prevent the swelling. A torn muscle fibre in the calf should be examined by a doctor, especially if there is pain or swelling in the calf area after sport or an accident. An ultrasound examination can be used to visualize the bruise and allows the distinction between a blood clot in a calf vein (thrombosis) and a compartment syndrome.

Both diseases also lead to painful (though usually harder) swellings in the calf area. It is recommended to warm up sufficiently before exercise and to avoid heavy strain on the calf muscles such as sprinting or jumping in the first 30 to 60 minutes after the start of training, as this can prevent pulled muscles and torn muscle fibers. Muscle fiber tears in the thigh are typical sports injuries in sports where braking and acceleration alternate and where the rapid strength of the thigh muscles is required.

These include ball sports such as soccer and squash, but also running sports and especially short-distance sprinting, because during sprinting the entire thigh muscles are suddenly tensed and subsequently put under extreme strain. If such a muscle injury to the thigh is suspected, a doctor should be consulted to initiate conservative or surgical treatment, depending on the extent of the muscle damage. The torn muscle fibre in the thigh is usually noticeable as a severe pain and severe movement restrictions.

Regular stretching exercises after sports activities can help to avoid muscle fiber tears in the thigh, as the muscles become more flexible and thus more resilient. A torn muscle fiber in the thigh is very painful and often very protracted. In any case, it is advisable to wait until there is no more discomfort or pain before resuming sporting activities.

Torn muscle fibers in the buttocks often occur during movements beyond the physiological level when the muscles are still unheated. It is characterized by a strong, stabbing pain in the affected area. Often swelling or bruising is also caused by injury to tissue and small vessels. The affected area should first be spared and cooled to relieve the symptoms. After about 6 weeks, the torn muscle fibre should have healed.
