Training therapy

The medical training therapy serves to increase the efficiency and the load capacity of the body and takes place under medical supervision. Depending on the type of training, strength, endurance or coordination can be improved. Frequent indications for such a therapy are, for example, back pain, slipped discs or postural deficiencies.

Training therapy for the different joints

The herniated disc describes the emergence of tissue from the gelatinous core of the disc into the spinal canal. Pressure on nerve roots can lead to pain, paralysis and/or sensory disturbances. The most common location of a herniated disc is in the area of the lumbar spine.

The physiotherapeutic measures in the context of conservative treatment of the herniated disc represent a very important area. By strengthening the back muscles within the scope of physiotherapeutic measures, an improved muscular guidance of the spinal column is achieved, which ultimately results in a lower load on the intervertebral disc.
