- Have you noticed any symptoms such as discharge or vaginal itching? (Question for the woman)
- Have you noticed any discharge from the urethra? (Question for the man)
- How long have these changes existed?
- What does the discharge look like? Does it smell?
- Do you suffer from micturition discomfort such as burning during urination or frequent urination?
- Do you have pain during sexual intercourse?
- Do your symptoms fluctuate during your menstrual cycle? (Question for the woman)
- Very rarely: Bathing in unchlorinated thermal water, towels, swimwear? (for young children) (question to parents).
Vegetative anamnesis including nutritional anamnesis.
- Do you have frequently changing sexual partners?
- Do you have unprotected sexual intercourse?
- Do you often go to the swimming pool? Thermal bath?
Self-history incl. medication history
- Pre-existing conditions (venereal diseases; male: prostatitis, inflammation of the epididymis).
