Use during pregnancy
There is evidence that citalopram, which is the active ingredient in the product Cipramil® , just like other drugs from the group of SSRIs, can influence the development of the unborn child. For example, it has been observed that premature births and breathing problems of the newborn are more common. However, since there is no study of Cipramil® in pregnant women, the effect of the drug on the fetus remains uncertain.
