Ferrum Phosphoricum as ointment

One possibility for the external application of Ferrum phosphoricum is, besides the paste (ground tablets mixed with a little water), also the ointment which is usually ready to buy. This is used for insect bites as well as for a variety of different injuries of the external tissue, such as sprains, burns, bruises, contusions or cuts and abrasions. Ferrum phosphoricum ointment can also be used to support medical treatment of inflamed joints, for example in the context of a known rheumatic disease or incipient tendovaginitis, thus helping to alleviate the symptoms.

Inflammatory skin diseases or rashes may also respond well to therapy with Ferrum phosphoricum, especially if the inflammation is in its early stages. If treatment with Ferrum phosphoricum ointment does not work, the fourth Schüßler salt, potassium chloratum, can be used as an alternative.
