What is the vegetable diet?

This mono-diet is very one-sided, but you can lose a lot of weight within a few days, because vegetables are generally very low in calories. The menu of this diet is very versatile from raw vegetables to vegetable juices, vegetable soups and vegetable pans. The selection of available vegetables is so large that it can be varied daily.

Vegetable recipes are easy to recook and can be well prepared. It is important to drink a lot as part of the diet, water and unsweetened tea are suitable. Sweetened drinks such as cola or lemonade, coffee with milk and alcohol are forbidden. Certain vegetable diets can be supplemented with low-fat curd cheese or yoghurt in individual main meals.

Lose weight with vegetable broth

A special possibility of the vegetable diet is slimming with vegetable broth. Vegetable broth is low in calories and still tasty. You can choose vegetable broth as a substitute for certain meals and eat, for example, fruit and raw vegetables, sometimes also yogurt, rice or meat.

Recipes and plans can be found on the Internet. A radical cure would be a cure in which nothing but vegetable broth is spooned. This radical mono-diet is hard to keep up, but has enormous success with an almost predetermined yo-yo effect. In any case, it is important that a vegetable broth is prepared with fresh celery, leek, carrots and soup greens. Instant soups contain flavor enhancers and preservatives.
