Veins

Veins, which usually run near the arteries, are also part of the heart‘s supply. Their task is to collect the blood again and to lead it to the right atrium. The three largest branches are called veins:

  • Vena cardia media running with the ramus ventricularis posterior
  • Vena cardiaca parva, which runs with the right coronary artery
  • Magna cardiac vein that runs with the anterior ventricular ramus
