Water Pressure Jet Massage

Water pressure jet massage (synonym: water pressure massage) is used to treat the skin, muscles, vascular system and body metabolism. Different massage methods (overwater or underwater massage) are available for this purpose.

Indications (areas of application)

  • Lumbago/dorsalgia (back pain).
  • Muscle tension of all kinds
  • Circulatory and metabolic disorders
  • Congestion-induced swelling in the venous and lymphatic systems

The procedures

All procedures have in common the union of crucial elements of hydromassage / aquamassage (physical and psychological relaxation), with the effect of heat therapy. Some systems use as a water massage overwater massage, that is, the patient lies in full clothing – without changing clothes and showering – on a special massage table filled with water.

Other systems massage the patient in a warm water bath (underwater massage) by means of water pressure jets. Here the patient lies on a warm and flexible natural rubber mat and is massaged by means of water pressure jets, which are guided up and down the body by two jets moving under the mat. The therapy, which is performed in a relaxed lying position, relieves muscle tension and congestion in the venous and lymphatic systems through heat, massage, pressure and movement. At the same time it stimulates blood circulation and metabolism and loosens subcutaneous tissues.

Both treatment methods described above offer individual massage types and programs. The duration of application is about 15 minutes.

Already after a short, side-effect-free treatment period, the treatment success sets in and is consolidated by repeated treatments.

Benefits

You will particularly benefit from the gentle and natural massage procedure in cases of back pain, muscle tension of all kinds, circulatory and metabolic disorders, and swelling caused by congestion.
