There is too little experience with the use of GENTAMICIN POS eye ointment in pregnant women to make a recommendation. However, it is not to be expected that the active substance will be absorbed into the bloodstream of the mother or even the child.

The same applies to breastfeeding. As the safety of Floxal 3mg/g eye ointment for mother and child during pregnancy and breastfeeding cannot be guaranteed, its use during this period should be avoided. The use of TOBRAMAXIN® eye ointment is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
