What is the difference to Voltaren Resinat®?

The main difference between Voltaren Dispers® and Voltaren Resinat® is the dosage form. While Voltaren Dispers® is dissolved in a glass of water and then drunk, Voltaren Resinat® is in the form of tablets that are swallowed whole with a sip of water. However, the active ingredient diclofenac is contained in both products.

Voltaren Resinat® is often prescribed rather than diclofenac. However, Voltaren Dispers® is particularly suitable for patients who are unable or unwilling to swallow whole tablets. The usual dosage of Voltaren Resinat® for adults is one to a maximum of two tablets per day.

Voltaren Dispers® can be taken a maximum of three times a day. However, both drugs should always be taken as directed by a doctor or pharmacist and for a limited period of time.
