When can I start doing sports again?

Today, outpatient varicose vein surgeries are actually very common. Patients can leave the hospital a few hours after the operation. As a rule, patients are only treated as in-patients in exceptional cases, either if difficulties or complications are expected prior to the operation due to the patient’s individual condition or if complications arise during an operation planned as an out-patient that make hospitalization necessary. Even in the case of major surgery, poor patient condition or complex concomitant diseases, care is provided on an inpatient basis.
