Stretching exercises for the groin

Fast, over-zealous movements to provoke a strong stretching pain should be avoided.Another stretching exercise is to bend one leg backwards while standing freely and pull on the bent foot with the hand.

This should cause a slight stretching pain at the front of the thigh. If you are doing sports that require other muscle groups, these muscles should also be pre-stretched so that sudden movements do not pull or tear.
