Women’s teas are commercially available from various suppliers with different compositions. Pharmacies and drugstores also produce appropriate mixtures themselves.

Ingredients

Women’s tea contains single or mixed medicinal drugs. The best-known women’s tea is lady’s mantle. In addition, the teas may contain numerous other medicinal drugs, such as alpine lady’s mantle, St. John’s wort, lemon balm, chamomile, peppermint and anise. The composition is also adapted to the area of application.

Effects

Women’s tea is attributed, among other things, analgesic, antispasmodic, sedative and mood-lifting properties. It should be drunk warm, as heat can have a positive effect on cramps.

Indications

Women’s teas are commonly used to treat menstrual cramps. Other possible indications include other women’s ailments such as premenstrual syndrome and menopausal symptoms.

Dosage

According to the package leaflet. Take one cup of the tea several times a day.
