Zeel® comp. N is a homeopathic combination remedy which is distributed by the company “Heel” in the form of tablets, ampoules and creams. The various preparations contain the same active ingredients, but use different carrier substances.
Zeel® comp. N is used in particular for pain in the context of arthrosis and rheumatic joint complaints and contains 5 different active ingredients. These include poison ivy, the Canadian bloodroot and arnica. As with any homeopathic remedy, the active ingredients are diluted, so that only traces of them remain in the finished medicine.
Indication
Zeel® comp. N is used for joint pain of various causes. Among the most common diseases are osteoarthritis of the knee, hip, fingers or back.
According to the manufacturer, pain in bones, tendons and joints, which have arisen in the context of rheumatic diseases, as well as joint inflammation of other causes, should also be successfully treated with Zeel® comp. N should be treatable. Rheumatic complaints in particular, which worsen in cold and wet weather, are said to improve with the product.
A further area of application is joint and muscle pain in the context of overloading. It should be noted that the effectiveness of Zeel® comp. N – as is the case with almost all homeopathic medicines – has little or no proof of efficacy.
Many studies that underpin the effectiveness of homeopathic medicines are considered to be of poor quality. Arthrosis is the term used to describe wear and tear of the joints, which mostly affects older people and is accompanied by pain in the affected joints. Therapeutic options offered by modern orthodox medicine, such as joint replacement or treatment with painkillers, are perceived by many sufferers as unsatisfactory or as having too many side effects.
Drugs such as Zeel® comp. N are naturopathic alternatives and are considered to be well tolerated and have few side effects. The experience with Zeel® comp.
N in osteoarthritis patients is divided, however: while some people report good efficacy, others complain about the ineffectiveness of the drug. Joint pain is a very versatile symptom and can occur in the context of a wide variety of conditions. Zeel® comp.
N is said to be particularly effective for joint pain caused by rheumatic diseases and arthrosis. The manufacturer “Heel” also states that inflammatory joint pain of other causes can be treated with Zeel® comp. N can also be treated with Zeel® comp. It is important to note that newly occurring, severe joint pain must be clarified by a doctor before self-therapy – especially if the affected joint is red and swollen.
