Effects
Perlite has an abrasive effect in toothpastes, cleaning and polishing the tooth surface. It can also be applied to dental restoratives.
Indications
Tooth stains, discoloration and plaque, e.g. due to tea, coffee or tobacco consumption.
Dosage
Toothpastes are used in addition to normal dental care one to several times a week. Thoroughly brush the teeth during 2-3 minutes.
Adverse effects
According to the manufacturer, the products are well tolerated and are gentle on tooth enamel and dentin.
