- What is the general health of your relatives?
- Are there any diseases in your family that are common?
- Are there any hereditary diseases in your family?
Social history
- What is your profession?
- Are you exposed to harmful working substances in your profession?
Current medical history/systemic medical history (somatic and psychological complaints).
- How long has the irritation/itching existed?
- Does the irritation/itching affect both eyes?
- Is there redness of the eye/both eyes?
- Have you noticed any lacrimation from the eye/both eyes?
- Do you have pain in the area of the eye/both eyes?
- Have you noticed any visual disturbances?
- Do you remember a trigger?
- Do you use over-the-counter eye drops?
