- Have you noticed any cardiac arrhythmias?
Vegetative anamnesis including nutritional anamnesis.
- Do you eat a lot of licorice?
- Do you chew tobacco?
- Do you consume a lot of milk or calcium, respectively?
Self anamnesis incl. medication anamnesis
- Pre-existing conditions (vomiting; metabolic disorders).

- Allergies
Medication history
- Diuretics – diuretic medications such as furosemide and hydrochlorothiazide (HCT).
- Glucocorticoids
- Penicillin, carbenicillin (antibiotics)
