Effects
Acepromazine (ATCvet QN05AA04) has sedative and muscle relaxant properties. It has a depressant effect and reduces motor activity.
Indications
Acepromazine is used in dogs, cats, and horses for sedation and immobilization, psychosis, behavioral disorders, pruritus, and motion sickness.
