- Abdominal ultrasonography (ultrasound examination of abdominal organs) with a question about splenomegaly (measurement of the spleen).
Optional medical device diagnostics – depending on the results of the history, physical examination, laboratory diagnostics and obligatory medical device diagnostics – for differential diagnostic clarification.
- Computed tomography (CT) of the abdomen (abdominal CT).
- Magnetic resonance imaging of the abdomen (abdominal MRI).
Both examination methods can be used in cases of suspected bone marrow infiltration in malignant lymphomas (group of malignant diseases of the lymphatic system).
