Cholangitis
There are three forms of cholangitis. These are acute purulent cholangitis, non-purulent destructive cholangitis (primary biliary cirrhosis) and chronic sclerosing cholangitis. In severe purulent cholangitis, shock conditions, renal dysfunction and disorders of the central nervous system may also occur.
