Patient Advocate

Unbureaucratic help

The tasks of patient advocates are manifold:

  • For example, they receive praise and complaints from patients,
  • answer questions (e.g., regarding a patient’s rights) and
  • try to mediate between patients and hospital staff when problems arise.
  • Patients can also make suggestions and proposals for improvement to the patient advocate. The patient advocate then forwards them to the relevant departments.
