The potassium nitrate is dissolved in warm water and the solution is added to the drug powder mixture, to which unadjusted rabi is to be added. Once the powder is uniformly saturated by the potassium nitrate solution, it is dried at a temperature not exceeding 40°.
Effects
Anticholinergic (parasympatholytic), antiasthmatic.
Indications
Formerly used for bronchial asthma (obsolete! should no longer be used!!).
Testing
Greenish-yellow powder that burns with crackling.

Protected from light, in well-sealed container.
