Medical history (history of illness) represents an important component in the diagnosis of listeriosis.

Family history

Social history

  • What is your profession?
  • Do you have contact with animals?

Current medical history/systemic history (somatic and psychological complaints).

  • Do you suffer from fever? If so, for how long and what is the temperature?
  • Do you have headaches/muscle aches?
  • Do you feel nauseous?
  • Have you noticed any sensory disturbances and/or gait disturbances?* .

Vegetative anamnesis incl. nutritional anamnesis.

  • Have you eaten raw foods such as raw meat (raw sausage or ground meat) or raw milk/products?
  • Have you had any contact with animals? Did you show any skin lesions afterwards?

Self history including medication history.
