Clorazepate is present in drugs as dipotassium clorazepate (C16H11ClK2N2O4, Mr = 408.9 g/mol) is present, a white to pale yellow powder that is slightly to very slightly soluble in water.
Effects
Clorazepate (ATC N05BA05) has antianxiety, sedative, anticonvulsant, and muscle relaxant properties.
Indications
Anxiety and resulting restlessness, tension, agitation, neurovegetative and psychosomatic disorders and complaints.
