Benzyl nicotinate (C13H11NO2, Mr = 213.2 g/mol) is the benzyl ester of nicotinic acid.
Effects
Benzyl nicotinate has circulatory and warming properties.
Indications
Drug indications include:
- Rheumatic complaints, soft tissue rheumatism.
- Painful, inflammatory, degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system, muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, spine or intervertebral discs.
- Muscle tension, movement pain, lumbago, stiff neck, sciatica.
Dosage
According to the package leaflet. After use, hands should be washed with soap and water.
