Biotin preparations
Vitamin H preparations are available in many different compositions and price ranges. Vitamin H preparations are available in capsule form in drugstores at reasonable prices. Here usually still different Vitamine and mineral materials are contained like for example zinc, iron or also Pantothensäure additionally.
Also in the pharmacy these Vitamin preparations are to be erstehen. Biotin preparations that are approved as drugs usually have a biotin quantity of 2.5 to 5 mg per tablet. In the case of a clinical biotin deficiency, these preparations have been shown to improve symptoms. However, it has not yet been proven whether in healthy adults the daily intake of vitamin H preparations leads to a strengthening of the nails and to more shine in the hair.
Overdose of vitamin H
An overdose of vitamin H is generally not possible, as it is a water-soluble vitamin that is excreted with the urine if there is too much in the body. Water-soluble (hydrophilic) vitamins: Fat-soluble (hydrophobic) vitamins:
