Different professionals have different approaches to treating dysgrammatism. The treatment concept also depends individually on the age of the child and the type and degree of dysgrammatism. A speech therapist usually has the child do exercises on listening attention, rhythm, and using correct word and sentence constructions. He uses picture stories and role-playing.
If the dysgrammatism is a concomitant of a more extensive developmental delay, speech therapists work with physicians, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and/or psychologists.
