- General physical examination – including blood pressure, pulse, body weight, height; further:
- Inspection (viewing).
- Skin and mucous membranes
- Head
- Eyes
- Inspection (viewing).
- Ophthalmological examination – including tonometry (measurement of intraocular pressure) – if diseases of the eyes are suspected.
- ENT medical examination including epipharyngoscopy (nasopharyngoscopy) – if diseases of the nose, sinuses, ears are suspected.
- Neurological examination – including examination of sensorimotor function and reflexes, examination of cranial nerve functions – if neurological diseases are suspected.
- Dental examination – if dental diseases are suspected.
