Homeopathic medicines
The following homeopathics are used in the third phase for skin inflammations (pus):
- Hepar sulfuris (lime sulphur liver)
- Sulphur (Purified sulphur)
- Silicea (silicic acid)
Hepar sulfuris (lime sulphur liver)
Typical dosage of aconitum (blue wolfsbane) for inflammation of the skin with pus: Tablets D6
- Generally very susceptible to suppuration
- Even minor injuries quickly become festering
- Boils and carbuncles can occur
- Typical is a stabbing, splinter-like pain in the affected skin areas
- Patient freezes easily and is hypersensitive to pain and touch
- Sweat is foul smelling (like old cheese)
- Despondency
Sulphur (Purified sulphur)
Typical dosage of sulfur (purified sulfur) for inflammation of the skin with pus: Tablets D6 and D12
- Impure, grayish skin with tendency to suppuration
- Unpleasant body odor
- Aversion to cold water
- Skin itches and burns, aggravated by cold washing and in the warmth of the bed
- Scratching causes increased burning
- Irritable, grumpy patients who are prone to depression and have a poor memory
Silicea (silicic acid)
Typical dosage of Silicea (silicic acid) for dermatitis: Tablets D6D12
- Freezing patient with general tendency to suppuration
- These are stubborn, greasy, foul smelling and easily become chronic
- Tendency to cold, poorly reaching welding, especially on the hairy head
- The patients are weak, unable to perform
- Lack of warmth, everything is frosty
- Aggravation of symptoms in the evening and at night and by cold
- Improvement through warm wrapping
