Home remedies

Seawater is a well-known household remedy to promote wound healing. In general, however, it should be handled with care. Seawater is said to have an anti-inflammatory effect due to its high salt content.

However, not with open wounds. In the case of open wounds, seawater should be avoided at all costs. Air often helps with wounds.

Oxygen allows the wound to heal more quickly, so a plaster should not always be worn. It is recommended to remove the plaster if no dirt can get into the wound. Honey on the wound is also recommended.

The viscous honey is like a film on the wound and prevents the wound from drying out. If the wound remains permanently moist as a result, this is a breeding ground for bacteria.
