Optional medical device diagnostics – depending on the results of the history, physical examination, laboratory diagnostics, and obligatory medical device diagnostics – for differential diagnostic clarification.

  • Abdominal sonography (ultrasound examination of abdominal organs) – for basic diagnostics.
  • Vaginal sonography (ultrasound examination using an ultrasound probe inserted into the vagina (vagina)).
  • Computed tomography (CT) of the abdomen (abdominal CT) – to exclude adhesions (adhesions) or tumor disease.
  • Cystoscopy (urinary bladder endoscopy) – for suspected diseases of the genitourinary tract.
  • Sigmoidoscopy (rectosigmoidoscopy, i.e., mirroring of the lower approx. 30-40 cm of the rectum (rectum) and the sigmoid colon (sigmoid loop, sigmoid colon)) – when diseases of the digestive tract are suspected.
  • Laparoscopy (laparoscopy) – when endometriosis is suspected.
