Phoxim (C12H15N2O3PS, Mr = 298.3 g/mol) is a monothiophosphoric ester.
Effects
Phoxim (ATCvet QP53AF01) has insecticidal and acaricidal properties. The effects are due to inhibition of acetylcholinesterase.
Indications
Phoxim is approved for the treatment of ectoparasites in sheep, pigs, cattle, and cows. It is used against mites, lice, hair lice, flies, and ticks.
Dosage
According to the package insert. The medicine is used for bathing, washing and spraying.
