Proliferation Therapy

Proliferation therapy (synonym: prolotherapy; stimulated ligament repair (SLR)) is a reparative and regenerative injection procedure for the treatment of pain in joints and the musculoskeletal system. It currently stands out as the only procedure in the world that is used to treat lax joints and ligamentous structures in order to re-stabilize the joints, thereby restoring them to natural range of motion. In addition, this injection technique is increasingly used for joint arthritis of all types. Proliferation therapy is considered a natural therapy for pain therapy with which more than 1.5 million people have already been treated in the USA. In Europe, this therapy method is only slowly becoming known through the reference book (“Handbook of Proliferation Therapy”) and the patient guide (“How to strengthen our joints“) by Dr. J. Weingart.

As with other complementary pain therapy methods, only natural medicines are deliberately used. The goal is to avoid surgical intervention and regenerate the joints and articular cartilage.

Indications (areas of application)

  • Local or diffuse joint pain
  • Injuries to joints and their ligaments and capsules
  • Osteoarthritis of joints
  • Neck pain
  • Whiplash
  • Lumbago/dorsalgia (low back pain/back pain) (unless it is non-specific low back pain [S3 guideline: non-specific low back pain]).
  • Seatbelt injuries
  • Spondylolisthesis (spondylolisthesis)
  • Tendon irritation – Achilles tendonitis, tennis elbow (epicondylitis humeri radialis), golfer’s elbow (epicondylitis humeri ulnaris).
  • Knee pain
  • Ankle pain
  • Hallux valgus pain
  • Joint distortions
  • Unstable joints (frequent twisting of the ankle)
  • Hypermobility of the joints

The procedure

Chronic and acute musculoskeletal pain can be treated in a variety of ways. Most often, drugs are administered, which not infrequently have undesirable side effects, or surgical procedures are performed, which often do not provide freedom from pain.

Proliferation therapy is considered a natural healing method that has been proven for over five decades and its effectiveness has been confirmed by modern medical research. It focuses on the regeneration of the musculoskeletal system, especially joints, cartilage, ligaments, tendons and joint capsules.

Proliferation therapy: injection wg.

  • Promote regeneration – injection is made into the painful joint, joint capsule or tendon.
  • Promote stability of the joint – this requires diagnosing the exact location of ligament or joint capsule laxity
  • Pain therapy – the injection is made to the painful joint, joint capsule, tendon or trigger point (pain point with distant radiation).

Only natural substances are used. Most often, high-percentage sugar solution is injected. This sets a stimulus that activates the self-healing forces and stimulates the tissue to regenerate dynamically.

Benefits

Proliferation therapy helps with most joint conditions. Depending on the age of the patient and the severity of the condition, the chances of success range from 70% to 90% in terms of noticeable pain reduction or freedom from pain. This form of complementary pain therapy relieves or frees you from your musculoskeletal pain by stimulating the regenerative forces.

You benefit from the new awareness of life without pain and regain your mobility and, of course, desire to move.
