Family history
- Is there a history of skin disease in your family?
Social history
- What is your profession?
Current medical history/systemic history (somatic and psychological complaints).
- Have you noticed any redness of the skin? If so, where are these localized?
- When do these skin rednesses occur?
- How long do these changes persist?
- Have you noticed any other skin changes (e.g. vasodilatation, vesicles, nodules)?
Vegetative anamnesis incl. nutritional anamnesis.
- Do you eat a balanced diet?
- Do you eat a lot of spicy foods?
- Do you drink a lot of hot drinks?
- Do you often take hot baths?
- Are you exposed to sunlight a lot?
- Do you exercise regularly?
- Do you drink alcohol? If so, what drink(s) and how many glasses per day?
Self history incl. medication history.
- Pre-existing conditions (skin diseases; infection with the bacterium Helicobacter pylori).
