Toothsticks are small and front sharpened wooden sticks used for oral hygiene. They are commercially available from various suppliers (e.g. Tepe, Trisa, Emoform).

Areas of application

For interdental hygiene.

Application

• Moisten in the mouth.
• The flat side of the wood is against the gums.
• Insert into the interdental space with the pointed end facing forward.
• Slightly push in and pull out the wood several times in succession. Do not apply pressure and do not use in too tight places.
