Optional medical device diagnostics – depending on the results of the history, physical examination, laboratory diagnostics, and obligatory medical device diagnostics – for differential diagnostic clarification.

  • Renal ultrasonography (ultrasound examination of the kidneys; including the urinary tract) – if complications/consequential diseases are suspected.
  • Urethrography (X-ray imaging of the urethra with contrast medium) or urethrocystoscopy (urethral and bladder endoscopy) – if urethral stricture (narrowing of the urethra) is suspected.
