Skin rash with and without itching
Skin rash in the form of red spots can be an indication of a variety of diseases. Although rashes with red spots are far more often caused by viral pathogens, such skin symptoms can also be induced by bacteria or parasites. Furthermore, rashes with red spots are often seen as signs of an intolerance reaction to various substances.
If the rash with red spots appears suddenly and shows up with a pronounced itching, it is in most cases a symptom of an infectious disease. Burning skin is also typical for sunburn, but the skin is usually reddened over the entire surface and no small red spots appear. The same applies to a burn. Some people also get red spots on the body in stressful situations, these usually appear in the neck and décolleté region and can cause a burning sensation in the affected person.
