- General physical examination – including blood pressure, pulse, body weight, height; further:
- Inspection (viewing).
- Skin, mucous membranes and eyes [recurrent swelling of: Lips, eyelids, tongue, face, larynx (voice box), extremities, genitals]
- Auscultation (listening) of the heart.
- Auscultation of the lungs
- Palpation (palpation) of the abdomen (abdominal) (tenderness?, knocking pain?, coughing pain?, guarding tension?, hernial orifices?, renal bearing knocking pain?) [Abdominal discomfort/abdominal cramps.]
- Inspection (viewing).
- Cancer screening [due topossible cause: malignant lymphoma (malignant neoplasm of the lymphatic system)]
- If necessary, gynecological examination [due topossible causes:
- Menstruation (menstruation)
- Ovulation (ovulation)
- Pregnancy]
- Health check
