GnRH antagonists are competitive antagonists of GnRH at pituitary receptors, inhibiting the release of LH and FSH.
Indications
- Suppression of premature LH peaks and prevention of premature ovulation in women undergoing assisted reproductive medicine.
- Prostate cancer in adult men (degarelix).
