Adrenopause: Medical History

Medical history (history of illness) represents an important component in the diagnosis of adrenopause.

Family history

  • Are there any diseases in your family that are common?
  • What is the general health of your family members?

Social anamnesis

Current medical history/systemic medical history (somatic and psychological complaints).

  • Do you feel weak, low in drive? Tired?
  • Do you suffer from sleep disturbances?
  • Have you noticed a decrease in performance?
  • Do you suffer from concentration problems? Have you noticed any cognitive deficits?
  • Do you suffer from recurrent infections, decreased immune response after vaccinations (not responded to vaccination with sufficient antibody production)?

Vegetative anamnesis incl. nutritional anamnesis.

  • Has your appetite changed?
  • Has your weight changed unintentionally?
  • Are you overweight? Tell us your body weight (in kg) and height (in cm).
  • Are there changes in digestion and / or urination?
  • Do you smoke? If so, how many cigarettes, cigars, or pipes per day?
  • Do you drink alcohol? If yes, what drink(s) and how many drinks per day?
  • Do you use drugs? If yes, what drugs and how often per day or per week?
