Indications
Chest tea is used primarily for productive cough with mucus formation, but can also be used for dry irritating cough.
Contraindications
Chest tea should not be used in case of hypersensitivity. In the case of high-dose and long-term use, it is necessary to observe the contraindications of each drug, especially licorice and thyme.
Dosage
As an infusion, several times a day. Due to the liquorice, do not use for too long and in high dosage.
Products
The extract of chest tea is contained in numerous herbal candies, for example, Ricola. Other chest and cough teas of varying composition are commercially available.
