Respiratory System (J00-J99)

  • Influenza (flu)

Liver, gallbladder, and bile ducts-pancreas (pancreas) (K70-K77; K80-K87).

Musculoskeletal system and connective tissue (M00-M99).

  • Diseases from the rheumatic form such as chronic polyarthritis.

Psyche – nervous system (F00-F99; G00-G99)

  • Alcohol dependence
  • Anxiety disorders or generalized anxiety disorder (GAS).
  • Bipolar disorder (manic-depressive illness) – Analysis of heart rate variability in a 15-minute ECG may facilitate the differential diagnosis between a depressive phase of bipolar disorder and major depression; bipolar disorder is associated with decreased heart rate variability, which is due to the fact that bipolar disorder is associated with autonomic nervous system dysregulation that persists during the depressive phase. Similarly, in the patients who had bipolar disorder, respiratory sinus arrhythmia was attenuated. and both inflammatory parameters interleukin-10 and MCP-1 (monocyte chemoattractant protein-1) in the blood were increased.
  • Depressive adjustment disorder (e.g., as a grief reaction after loss of a partner or after diagnosis of a physical illness).
  • Eating disorders
  • Drug addiction
  • Dementia, unspecified; esp. in old-age depression.
  • Brain organic changes, unspecified
  • Panic disorders
  • Parkinson’s syndromes (due tolack of drive, lack of movement) in old age depression.
  • Schizophrenia – severe psychiatric disorder; belongs to the endogenous psychoses and is characterized by disorders of thinking, perception and affectivity.
  • Somatoform disorders (mental illness that results in physical symptoms without physical findings).
  • Social phobia
  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder
