Dosage and frequency of use
During pregnancy, paracetamol can be taken for pain or fever in a dosage of 500 to 1000mg (usually one or two tablets) up to three times a day. However, the drug should only be taken on a maximum of ten days per month. If the symptoms cannot be alleviated by the above dosage, consultation with the gynaecologist (gynaecologist) or family doctor should be sought.
Unlike most other painkillers, paracetamol can be taken during all three phases of pregnancy (trimesters) to relieve pain or fever. This is also one of the reasons why paracetamol is generally recommended as the painkiller of choice during pregnancy. In the first two trimenons, certain other painkillers can be taken alternatively. In the last trimester (seventh to ninth month of pregnancy), however, only paracetamol may be used, as all other painkillers can lead to developmental disorders in the expectant child or even miscarriage.
For mild to moderate headaches, taking 500mg of paracetamol (usually equivalent to one tablet) often provides relief. For very severe headaches, 1000mg can be taken at once. The pain reliever can be taken no more than three times a day.
If the headaches do not stop or recur repeatedly, it is recommended to consult your family doctor or gynaecologist. Paracetamol may only be taken on ten days a month at the most, otherwise the medication itself may cause headaches. To relieve toothache, either 500 or 1000mg of paracetamol can be taken.
The drug can be taken up to three times a day. However, in case of toothache, a dentist should be consulted promptly even during pregnancy, so that the cause of the pain can be specifically treated. More about this:

Back pain can occur more frequently during pregnancy and can be treated with paracetamol.
A dosage between 500 and 1000mg should be chosen, which is taken up to three times a day. If necessary, changing the pillow or doing back exercises can also help to get rid of the pain. However, if the pain cannot be relieved or occurs over several days, a doctor should be consulted.
