1st order laboratory parameters – obligatory laboratory tests.
- Small blood count
- Inflammatory parameters – CRP (C-reactive protein) or ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate).
- Thyroid parameters – TSH, fT3, fT4.
Laboratory parameters 2nd order – depending on the results of the medical history, physical examination, etc. – for differential diagnostic clarification.
- Total protein, albumin – for underweight.
- Infection serological examination – when infectious diseases are suspected.
