Homeopathic medicines
The following homeopathic medicines can be used for chronic back pain:
- Calcium fluoratum
- Cimicifuga (bugweed)
- Ranunculus bulbosus (buttercup)
- Aesculus hippocastanum (horse chestnut)
Calcium fluoratum
Especially drops D12 are used
- General weakness of the connective tissue
- Tendency to varicose veins
- Arthrosis
- Bone loss and pain in the lumbar spine
- Recurring nerve inflammations, for example of the sciatic nerve
- One feels shattered.
Cimicifuga (bugweed)

- Arthrosis and rheumatism associated with female menopause
- Cramp-like and pulling pain in the neck and throat area
- Tension and numbness

Ranunculus bulbosus (buttercup)

- Pain and tension in the area of the thoracic spine
- The pain increases when inhaled and is sharp
- Pulling in the forearm and fingers especially when writing
- Aggravation due to changes in temperature, touch and movement, and morning and evening.
Aesculus hippocastanum (horse chestnut)

- The pain is deep, persistent and dull
